The Heirloom Studio treats every client, child, family and supplier with dignity, kindness and respect.
We welcome and respect all families, couples and individuals, including LGBTQ+ clients, same-sex parents, single parents, blended families, adoptive families, foster families, grandparents, guardians and all family structures.

Our Responsibilities to Clients
The Heirloom Studio agrees to:
1. Be clear and transparent with pricing
All session fees, package prices, products, digital images, prints and any additional charges will be clearly stated before a booking or order is confirmed.
Any extra costs will be explained to the client before they are incurred.
2. Honour agreed bookings and services
Photography sessions will take place at the agreed time, date and location wherever possible.
If any change is required, the client will be informed as soon as possible. Any changes to the session schedule, photographer, location or service will be agreed with the client before the session takes place.
3. Deliver work within agreed timescales
The Heirloom Studio will make every reasonable effort to deliver galleries, edited images, prints, albums and other products within the agreed timeframe.
If there is an unexpected delay, the client will be informed as soon as possible.
4. Provide a professional standard of work
The Heirloom Studio will carry out all photography work with care, skill and professionalism.
We will aim to provide clients with high-quality images and products that reflect the style, standard and service described at the time of booking.
5. Respect client privacy and confidentiality
The Heirloom Studio will not disclose private client information to third parties unless required for the delivery of the service, required by law, or agreed by the client.
Client information, images and personal details will be treated with respect and handled in line with applicable data protection requirements.
6. Use client images responsibly
Client images will only be used for marketing, website, social media, awards, training, portfolio use or promotional purposes where suitable permission has been given.
Special care will be taken when using images of children, newborns and families.
7. Store and handle digital files responsibly
The Heirloom Studio will use reasonable systems for storing, backing up and retrieving client images for the period stated in our client terms and conditions.
Clients are encouraged to download and safely back up their purchased digital images once delivered.
8. Treat children and families with care and respect
The Heirloom Studio will always aim to provide a safe, calm and respectful environment for babies, children and families.
Children will be treated with patience, kindness and dignity at all times.
Parents, guardians and children will never be put under unnecessary pressure during a session. If a child needs time, comfort, feeding, changing, reassurance or a break, this will be respected wherever possible.
9. Act honestly and fairly
The Heirloom Studio will not mislead clients about services, pricing, products, qualifications, experience, awards or delivery times.
We will communicate honestly and professionally in all dealings with clients.
10. Handle concerns professionally
If a client has a concern or complaint, The Heirloom Studio will aim to deal with it fairly, calmly and respectfully.
We will listen to the concern, review the matter and respond in a professional manner.
Our Responsibilities as a Business
The Heirloom Studio agrees to:

The business will be registered and operated in line with applicable Irish legal, tax and business requirements.
Where required, the business will keep proper records for income tax, VAT, accounts and other legal obligations.
12. Respect copyright and intellectual property
The Heirloom Studio will respect the copyright and intellectual property rights of other photographers, videographers, artists, designers and businesses.
We will not knowingly copy, reproduce or use another creative professional’s work without permission.
13. Maintain suitable insurance
The Heirloom Studio will hold appropriate business insurance, which may include public liability, professional indemnity, equipment insurance and employer’s liability where applicable.
14. Pay suppliers and business obligations responsibly
The Heirloom Studio will aim to pay suppliers, contractors, tax obligations and business expenses in a timely and responsible manner.
15. Follow good professional conduct
The Heirloom Studio will behave respectfully towards clients, suppliers, other photographers, industry colleagues and the wider community.
We will aim to resolve any issues or complaints fairly, calmly and professionally.
